    It's our culture

We eat too much fast foods...we eat too many pre-packaged meals and we certainly do not eat enough fresh vegetables and rice.  It is our society that has made us have the problems we are experiencing.

That's becoming the problem nowadays. Some people really love  eating that much. And sometimes forget about themselves and even forget their health. Eating is needed by the body buy you need to control it. Because too much of anything is not good at all. It's nice to try diet and limiting food intake. That will help us.

Yes you are right, nowadays eating fast food is type of fashion. People prefer to eat fast food then fresh vegitables, fruits etc. Instead of eating fruits they dring juice with mixture of ice. This is resulting in having improper health.

It's not wise to blame our sorroundings for what we are. If you had the strong will to avoid junks, you can  have a nice balanced food with little effort.

Their is a misconception that rice and veggies will keep you in shape. But its the workouts and excercise which will keep you in shape. In India we have a certain caste who is purely vegetarian and eat rice only. But still some of them are obese and most of them are out of shape.

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.
