    Stair Climbing

I make sure that I take the stairs up to my third level apartment building every day instead of taking the elevator.  I have found that sticking to routines like this really help to keep me fit.

This is a good habit. Taking the stairs instead of elevator may seem to be a small effort but it will benefit you in the long term when done frequently Keep it up.

Although it's healthier than taking the elevator each day, climbing stairs won't do you any real good if you have a serious problem with your weight. Instead come up with your own exercise program and stick to it religiously. No kidding. Persistence is the key to weight losing, and you could climb stairs up and down for as long as you want but it won't take you anywhere.
