Losing
weight is a means to a healthy life. I feel following rules for eating and
exercising will slowly, but surely, lose weight.
However,
if you overeat once or skip a few days of physical activity, do not let this
get you down. Negative recriminations will only plunge you into depression and
in frustration; you may chuck up the whole thing. Instead, try to identify the
unconscious “triggers” that made you go off schedule.
Did
you overeat because you were stressed?
Did
you go to the fridge because you were watching TV?
Did
you forego exercise because you were tired?
Recognize
these triggers and learn to deal with them in the future. Also, tell yourself
that you will never let this happen to you again and go ahead with your
schedule.
