    Best Workout for Calves?

     I used to have a lot of muscles in my calves and found it made being on my feet all day a lot easier. I would like to get some of that muscle tone back before I go back to work. Besides walking, what are some other good calf workouts that I can do. I am especially looking for something I could do a few times throughout the day when I am just standing around waiting on something or watching television.

    One of the best workouts for your calves is taking simple dumbbells and holding them to your side and  leaning up on your toes. This builds the calves up and you will see over time the building of these muscles. As you advance, do this on a raised board about 3-4 inches off the ground. Calves are often a very neglected part of the body but they help balance your overall body.

    Here are some calf exercises you can do http://www.gainingweight.info/calf-exercises-training-workouts/. If weight training isn't your thing, nothing will beat intense cycling training for building those big calves.
