    Multivitamin and working out

I find that not taking a mutlivitamin when I am working out is a really bad idea. I simply find a lack of energy and I almost feel lethargic after a few days of working out. I generally take the basic Centrum vitamin and it does the trick. One thing I did notice is that I need to take it after I eat something each morning or at night because it makes me feel very nauseous on an empty stomach. Do any of you take a mutlivitamin and if so, is there a different one I should be taking to get more of what I need? I am always looking to improve upon my energy level and therefore my workouts.

It is very important to be taking a good multivitamin. You never want your body to be depleted of anything it needs and a multivitamin will help to ensure this doesn't happen. As far as when to take it, I think whatever works for you is fine. Just be consistent with taking it because taking it once every few days will not do the trick especially if you are dieting or working out. They have a lot of vitamin drinks out now too, but it is hard to find one without the sugar and additives that I don't need. I take a multivitamin daily and I can feel the difference from when I didn't take one.
