I have not really gotten on board with the low carb craze, but I am curious about something. How do South Beach and Atkins differ in overall diet philosophy? I have some family that follow South Beach and I always wonder why they chose that over Atkins. I believe if I am not mistaken that both are very focused on the number of grams of carbs intake each day, but to be honest I don't know a lot of the little details. So, if you are someone who does, I would love for you to share with me. Even though I don't follow them, I am what is known as an eclectic when it comes to dieting. I take what works from a lot of different sources and throw the rest out. So, I always try to learn new things.
