    Re: Drinking milk

Drinkling milk before you go to sleep is certainly a good habit. 3 glasses of milk a day is the best habit of all, it is loaded with Calcium. http://www.whymilk.com/pdf/HealthyWeightwithMilkFactSheet.pdf is a fact sheet of drinking milk.

    Re: Drinking milk

Of course a glass of hot milk is certainly better as it  is good for digestive system.Further, fruits added give better nutritious value.Double toned or toned depends on one's age.I would like to add that at younger age,say up to 40 years, toned is required. In short I would like to add that milk is definitely good for health.I can recall my coach telling me that milk and egg is a complete diet for a sportsman.

    Re: Drinking milk

It really depends on the milk, I wouldn't suggest whole milk before bed; however, 2% and fat free could be great options before bed as the protein found in milk is over a slower digestion rate:  casein protein, it great, as it puts the body in a more anabolic state.

    Re: Drinking milk

yup, it hase the casein, so its a good choice for supper. you don't want your body be in catabolic mode for 8 hours of sleep do you?

wonder why we feel hunger as soon as we wake up? our body needs nutrition although we asleep, so slow digesting protein will be a good choice.

if youc an find cottage cheese, that would be a good choice too. :)

Yes,  Drinking milk before sleeping is good for health. But please don’t go to bed as soon. It is not good to health. When you take food after an hour go to bed. It doesn’t create belly.

Yes, it is enough. But don’t add dry fruits like Cashew Nut, Almond, Peanut, Dried Apricot, Walnuts, etc. It gives more fat. More fat is not good for health. Use three or four dates with milk. It reduce the body height and it is high protein.
