The oral intake of steroids leads to many side effects. They produce an inflammation on the liver causing hepatitis. For some older men, this may lead to enlargement of prostrate leading to difficulty in urinating, also to prostrate cancer. One must cycle off the drug once in 6-8 weeks time to avoid side effects.  

 i think it side effect's u only when u make it in excessive amount or ur not not work out according to it.as some people maintain there ratio so it works on there body.so maintain ratio and take it in limit.

We cannot deny the fact about steroids side effects but most of it only happens when you don't know how to use it properly and abuse the drugs. But one thing is for sure if you started to administer one then you will need to continue that for the rest of your life because natural testosterone won't produce anymore. 

 Yes obviously they do have side effects. It is not always necessary to take these drugs (if i may call them so). Working out itself can lead to the building up for u body.
