Along with exercise, a careful diet plan is a must to lose weight. A
balanced diet limits caloric intake without depriving you of the nutrients you
need. Of course it must not be a crashed diet (below 500 calories), because
crashed diet put at risk the health and do not work in long run.
Exercise increases the basal metabolic rate and turns the body into a
fat-burning machine. So to counterbalance the increased rate of metabolism a
sensible diet is being planned. The diet should not focus on the quantity, but
on the quality of food consumed.
