    Human Growth Hormones and Children?

I have heard that some parents give their children HGH when they have a disorder or are smaller than what they should be. I don't know for sure if this is a legal practice, but it seems to me it would be very dangerous. I wonder if anyone here has heard anything more about this as a trend. I am sure that there are many details I missed when watching the short news clip, but I figured someone here might know about it.

I think the child should have a say if he is like a "dwarf" not to offend anyone and he feels like his life would be better if he was taller then he should do his best but instead of using drugs, try the natural way instead. Herbs ect..

I just have to worry what the long term effects of such things are on children. We know what they can do to fully grown and developed bodies. I wonder if there are natural ways to help with disorders related to size. You make an interesting point dreads.

Yea i dont think it is right to give this kids this growth hormone. A recent case is Wrestler Chris Benoit's son who was given this hormone for growth. Apparently chris had a similar problem while young i think thats one of the reasons why he suggested it for his kids. We all know the end of the case, a triple suicide i am sure it affected benoit's thinking ability and possibly got him depressed.

Sometimes this hormone work wonders in this kids. I think personalty doesn't have to come in. Benoit is pretty known to be violent i don't think its because of an hormone. Wrestlers have personal problems and they need to solve it

HGH is dangerous to the health of the children. I recommend government to stop the sale of growth hormones.  I think it’s dangerous for anybody to take these drugs whether adults or children. I won't recommend for anyone

HGH has its side effects no responsible parent should give his or her child such a drug. Mercohulo you are right i wont recomend it Because of its long term effects. I know someone who has limited memory now 6 years after taking the growth hormone.

HGH has no visible diadvantage i don't know where you get all this theories of yours. I would like to state that clearly the government or the FDA hasn't said anything about it recently.

This is not an ethical way to comfort the child in the future. Always one must adopt the natural ways and not the artificial things. They may have more side effects then what expected and will lead to many diseases which can be avoided at the early stages.

Not unless the child has a medical problem and cannot grow, they do not need this. We do not need 5 year old body builders.

Hgh is used for a disease dwarfism it is approved to be administered to kids if there are medical proof that a child is suffering form it but if the child don't have one then there is no point in administering one. Bodybuilders who abused this drug commonly have a very enlarged guts as its side effects.

Yes it is true that kids are given HGH when found to have disorders. But taking these at a young age will surely have an effect on them
