My sister went to the doctor about 2 months ago and was told she had very high cholesterol despite exercising daily. She was told to change her diet almost to an extreme. It upset her greatly and a co-worker suggested that she try taking Fish Oil supplements every day. Although she altered her diet somewhat, she did not do it to the extreme that the doctor suggested, began the Fish Oil, and continued her regular exercise routine. When she went back to have it checked again, it was down 62 points to a very healthy level. The doctor said it was all about diet. She explained the Fish Oil that she had been taking as well as the diet changes. He of course felt that she would eventually get it back to a high level unless she went to the diet he prescribed. It seems to me that with some moderate changes, Fish Oil could possibly be a huge help in the battle of high cholesterol.
