    Fish Oil

My sister went to the doctor about 2 months ago and was told she had very high cholesterol despite exercising daily. She was told to change her diet almost to an extreme. It upset her greatly and a co-worker suggested that she try taking Fish Oil supplements every day. Although she altered her diet somewhat, she did not do it to the extreme that the doctor suggested, began the Fish Oil, and continued her regular exercise routine. When she went back to have it checked again, it was down 62 points to a very healthy level. The doctor said it was all about diet. She explained the Fish Oil that she had been taking as well as the diet changes. He of course felt that she would eventually get it back to a high level unless she went to the diet he prescribed. It seems to me that with some moderate changes, Fish Oil could possibly be a huge help in the battle of high cholesterol.

The oil of fish has been shown to have many healthy properties. I am not surprised it helped your sister with her cholestorol. However, I am not convinced that relying on it solely is smart. The thing about our bodies is that everything is interconnected. Regular exercise and a consistent healthy diet are important to so many aspect of your life. If I were her, I would continue with the fish oil while working towards her optimal level of healthy diet and exercise routines.

Sure fish oil is very ideal. It is good for the heart and a very good source of omega 3. I don't think its the fish oil alone all this things work with each other the exercise, the diet and the fish oil all constitute  to a healthier and lower cholesterol.

These are required for the production of the eicosanoids, a hormones that are responsible for regulating the major body functions, including digestion, insulin production and the storage of fat.
