C'mon let us lose weight together

We welcome you to the bodybuilding and weight loss community..

I am going to lose weight, My first target is 25 pounds in 100 days. My friend Felix have set a weight loss target of 30 pounds. Marylyn wants to shred 15 pounds. Together we have started this bodybuilding and weight loss community to make our dream come true.

I will be posting the developments as and when I find time and will share you guys with the various weight loss techniques  which  we will be using in the mission. There are realty shows on which people lose as much as 7 pounds a week. Since we 3 are working with computers, we don't have much time to  exercise and don't have any physical activity at work other than the occasional stretching. So we have set realistic targets and work to achieve the bodybuilding goals.

We encourage you to join us and share your weight loss and bodybuilding experience with people like us who are desperate to lose weight. 

We have decided to start the workouts starting by July 2nd week or 10th of July.  Our current height , weight and age

Update on -17th August 2007

It is 47 days since we have started the workouts. I apologize for not updating the progress every week. I had fallen sick meantime and due to unavoidable situations was not able to continue with what I was doing. The 2nd phase for me will start from 19th August- Monday and once again will try to follow the atkins diet supplementing with cycling and weight programs. Meanwhile Felix and Marylin had made great progress with their gym workouts inspite of the busy work. I have asked them to write their experience while they find time or they will be podcasting it shortly. One thing about Dr.Atkin is little annoying.. He has recommended only 20gm of carbs per week. As I had been a heavy rice eater it is a bit difficult for me to have the 20 gm / week all of a sudden. I have researched so many foods and settled down with sprouted green grams. I am writing it in detail in my blog later.. Well to cut it short here is the progress card

 UPDATE ON 4th NOV 2007

The results of Phase-1 was very disappointing for me. I was not able to accomplish the mission due to various factors. You can find the update here where I have  described in details the diet plans exercise and factors which affected the scedule

Actually I had started the project 100 days back planning to shed atleast 10 kgs or 25 pounds. I was able to acheive only 20% of the desired result. I thank for all the friends who had motivated me through our bodybuilding community. I am going to try it harder in phase-2.

It's a shame that my friends backed off and quit the routines. It takes a lot of will power for a 36 year old guy working 12 hrs a day to find time for exercises. The work had been tough and stressfull that I had gained weight and back to square one from where we had started this commune. This is a very awkward situation and this time I am not going to get anything inbetween me and my weightloss plans. I have met a couple of old school friends who are willing to workout with me to flatten the pot bellies. I will give the details in the blog section.


 With a positive bodybuilding spirit and a wealth of experience you can help us achieve our goals with your valuable advice. We can discuss diet plans, workouts, fitness plans on the  bodybuilding forums, and share the bodybuilding experience on the blogs .
